I've been on sabbatical for the past year, but I've done some non-profit projects and I've vibecoded some tools. I'm still trying to figure out a balance between hand coding and LLM assisted coding. Where did you land? Where are you currently?
I still hand-code, as do nearly all the devs in my workplace. Ironically, I suppose, we primarily work on deep learning systems.
Personally, I don't use LLM coding assistants at all for anything beyond experimenting with them. I haven't yet found the cost/benefit ratio of them to be in my favor.
